City Website, PLAY Online and Phone Outage Scheduled
On Friday, August 22, 2008 at 5 p.m., all power to Garland City Hall will be turned off to facilitate a power system upgrade for the building. During this outage, the City's website and PLAY Online will be unavailable. Telephone lines to the following PARD facilities will also be affected:
Audubon Recreation Center
Surf and Swim
Senior Activity Center
Parks and Recreation Administration
Website and telephone services are expected to be restored by midnight on Saturday, August 23.
On Friday, August 29, 2008 at 5 p.m., most City Government telephone numbers will be temporarily out of service. Telephone service will be restored by 10 a.m on Sunday, August 31, 2008.
The Water Operations and City After-Hours Dispatch at 972-205-3210 will not be affected by this outage.
