Garland Mayor Ronald E. Jones will host his quarterly “Mayor’s Evening Out” event on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m.  The Mayor hosts “Evening Out” events to broaden his accessibility to the citizens of Garland.
 
This month’s event will be held at The Shores of Wellington Neighborhood Pavilion.  The Shores of Wellington is located at Southampton Blvd. and Waterhouse Blvd. 
 
The “Evening Out” format will be an open, come-and-go session.  It is not necessary to schedule an appointment.  The Mayor will visit with citizens in the order in which they sign in upon arrival.

Directions:
 
From I-30: exit Zion Rd (exit #61), go north on Zion Rd, turn left at Waterhouse, then right on Southampton.  Turn left at Wellington, and the pavilion is on the left just past the pool.  Parking is at the pool parking lot or along Wellington Blvd. 
 
From Rowlett Rd: go south on Roan Rd (toward I-30) and turn left at Waterhouse, then left onto Wellington.  The pavilion is across the street from the school on the right.
