Barbara Chick, District 6 Council Member, is serving her first term. She has also served on the Plan Commission and the West Area Implementation Committee. Mrs. Chick has lived in Garland since 1950. She and her husband, Don, built a house here in 1965. They raised two children here. She is a retired bank Assistant Vice President, who is now focusing her energies on helping her district benefit from the City's redevelopment goals.
