Online Resource Tutorials
The Garland Libraries offer video tutorials on how to use many of our online resources. Learn how to use Value Line, Mango Languages, Testing and Education Reference Center, Chilton Auto Repair and many more. Also included are tutorials on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Gmail, Google Photos, and Goodreads.
Garland Libraries have implemented a new open Wi-Fi system. We no longer require a library card to access the internet wirelessly. You do still need to bring your own device to the library and you will need a Garland Library card to access the library’s online resources.
Look for “GarlandPublic” in your Wi-Fi settings - network list.
GISD Chromebooks can also use GarlandPublic to access Classrooms and Google Docs (our previous system did not always allow this).
